Ken’s city of origin is Chicago, Illinois. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Wheaton College in Illinois. Ken worked for Sonoscan, Inc., for nearly 32 years in the Applications Laboratory, serving 22 years as the Analytical Testing Laboratory Manager in Scottsdale, Arizona. He has extensive experience in acoustic imaging inspection, including various applications such as integrated circuits, RF hybrid modules, SOI wafers, capacitors, flipchips, material characterization, and much more. Ken has also provided operator training on Sonoscan equipment. He, along with his wife Linda, opened their own inspection laboratory providing non-destructive analysis using acoustic micro-imaging techniques. Together, they provide personalized service utilizing decades of experience and expertise.

Ken and Linda homeschooled their three daughters, during which Ken taught math and physics. He also taught physics classes and tutored physics for several years to other homeschooled kids.

Ken enjoys swimming, playing tennis, and golf. He and Linda are involved in volunteering at their local church.

Linda, a native of Nebraska, graduated from Midland University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She moved to Chicago to begin her career in nursing and practiced for 10 years as a registered nurse. Linda and Ken raised three daughters, homeschooling them through high school. In 2015, Linda began working as a laboratory technician at Sonoscan with Ken, performing administrative duties, and operating an acoustic microscope for large-scale inspection programs, using a variety of applications (including high-powered IGBT transistors, braze joints, diodes, capacitors, and materials testing). She is familiar with ISO procedures, as well.

Linda worked in various part-time positions during her 19 years of homeschooling, including teaching language arts to homeschooling students, performing as a test proctor, and working as a teaching assistant in homeschool choir and science classes. Linda also has worked at a homeschool resource center in Phoenix, and was a customer service associate at PostNet, a business/mailing center. She led her church children’s choir and worship team for eleven years.

Linda and Ken opened AccuFocus Analytical Laboratory with the desire to provide customers with quality inspection data and personalized service. Together, they have over 40 years of combined experience in the acoustic microimaging field.

Jeff was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. He graduated in August 2023 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University in Tempe. Prior to pursuing his degree, he served in the United States Air Force starting in 2010. Jeff worked as a KC-10 Crew Chief in Active Duty and the Reserves up until 2018. He was stationed at McGuire Air Force Base, New Jersey and Travis Air Force Base, California. During Active Duty, he worked in an inspection hangar to inspect, repair, service, tow, and run engines. He also worked as a Dock Chief to supervise and ensure that aircraft and personnel were safe, forms were completed correctly, and all work was completed on time. During the Reserves, he deployed to work on the flightline to supervise, inspect, repair, service, refuel, tow, launch, and recover aircraft.

Jeff moved to Arizona to finish his degree in 2019 and joined AccuFocus Analytical Laboratory team in April 2024. He has gained valuable experience while operating the C-SAM, learning about acoustic imaging inspections. Prior to joining full-time, Jeff had worked for us as a contract employee since November 2023. He is very excited to be working at AccuFocus and is motivated to continue to learn as much as possible about this business, working with current and future customers!

During his free time, Jeff enjoys taking trips to see the beauty of Arizona with his girlfriend, Emma, and their dog, Stella. They also love to watch football and tennis together. Jeff enjoys playing drums and reading books in his spare time.
